Updates for Fullypromoted USA Franchisees
As of 12-07-2022 at 6:52 PM EST
We have flipped the DNS for fullypromoted.com emails to now be delivered to the Office 365 Exchange accounts.
- Please log in to your new accounts here: https://portal.office.com
- Once you have logged in set up 2FA/Multifactor: https://aka.ms/MFASetup
- Reset your password here: https://myaccount.microsoft.com
How to access email During this time, please use: https://portal.office.com as we do not currently have the bandwith to help configure everyone’s devices. The Webmail system will allow you to access all your email.
If you were affected by the Hosted Exchange issue, please do not remove your Outlook profile or update any settings.
If you were unaffected by the Rackspace issues, we still have to move your accounts over to the new environment. Please make sure not to remove your Outlook settings/profile, as this will allow you to access older emails. Technically, since your accounts are stil active on Rackspace (until after migration)these accounts still can technically send out email. But they will not be able to receive email from anyone on a different domain (e.g customers/vendors), those inbound emails will be delivered to the new Office 365 accounts.
Data Migration – Once Rackspace resolves the event, we will schedule a migration team to work on moving the data from ALL old email accounts at Rackspace to the new accounts at Microsoft. We do not have any idea of when this will occur. We understand this is difficult, but until the event is resolved migrations cannot transpire.
Action Items for FP Franchisees in USA
Email type #3 – You pay Rackspace directly or have a custom domain name (this is not managed by UFG)
If you are an older/legacy Fully Promoted franchise that utilizes your own domain name and your email address may look like [email protected] or [email protected]. Since you are your own Rackspace Admin, you will need to contact Rackspace to restore and upgrade service. You will also need to reconfigure your DNS.
Please proceed with the following:
If UFG manages your domain – contact FP Support to assist in the upgrade and setup after you contact Rackspace.
If you own your domain – You need to contact Rackspace for direct support to upgrade to Microsoft 365 Email (Plan 1).
Completed
Email Fix 1: You are a Hosted Exchange user utilizing (@fullypromoted.com)
ALL HOSTED EXCHANGE ACCOUNTS ON FULLYPROMOTED.COM HAVE BEEN MIGRATED.
You had email issues starting Friday’s Rackspace exchange outage and your email address may look like [email protected].
First thing Monday, December 5th you will be receiving a phone call from Fully Promoted that will include proper steps for logging into portal.office.com with a new password. It will ask you to setup two step authentication using a mobile phone, which will require you to receive a text message with a code. You will be required to change your password, IMMEDIATELY.
During this time, your old emails will not be accessible, but if you use a software like Outlook, DO NOT REMOVE YOUR ACCOUNT. If you do, you will lose access to your historic emails. Once Rackspace resolves all their server issues, your old emails will be merged into your new account. Any emails sent to you since the situation began Friday morning, have more than likely been lost or best case scenario in a delayed queue.
Email Fix 2: You are utilizing Rackspace Email and (@fullypromoted.com)

These Rackspace users have not run into any disruptions in services since Friday but your email address also looks like [email protected]. As stated above, we must upgrade your emails to Microsoft 365 Email (Plan 1) to secure and improve the entire domain / brand.
