United Franchise Group Adds 105 Locations in First Half of 2026

United Franchise Group™ (UFG) reported significant franchise growth in 2026, adding 105 new locations and signing 148 individual franchise agreements during the first half of the year. UFG also reported seven development agreements representing 19 future locations and 10 international master franchise agreements across five franchise brands.

The results reflect both locations already added to the network, and contracted development expected to support future expansion.

New Locations and Future Development

During the first half of 2026, UFG added 105 locations across its network while signing 148 individual franchise agreements.

Those figures are separate from seven additional development agreements representing 19 future locations. Distinguishing between opened locations and contracted development provides a clearer picture of both UFG’s first-half performance and its future growth pipeline.

International Agreements Across Five Brands

International development also remained an important part of UFG’s expansion strategy.

Ten master franchise agreements were signed across Exit Factor®, Graze Craze®, Signarama®, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill®, and Transworld Business Advisors®. The agreements include expansion for Exit Factor in Japan, Signarama in Germany, and The Great Greek in the Caribbean, demonstrating demand for UFG concepts across a range of international markets.

Master franchise agreements establish contracted development rights within defined markets, creating a foundation for future locations rather than representing locations already open.

Training and Support for Franchise Owners

For UFG, expansion is supported by an ongoing emphasis on training, education, mentorship, and opportunities for franchise owners to learn from one another.

“We work hard to mentor our entrepreneurs so they can be as successful as possible,” said Michael White, UFG’s Chief Development Officer and Director of Global Franchising.

As UFG expands domestically and internationally, that support remains an important part of helping new and existing owners build stronger businesses and contribute to sustainable systemwide growth.
