At United Franchise Group, culture isn’t just words on paper, it’s lived out every day by our people, whether they’ve been here three months or three decades.
Take Nick Bruckner, who has been with UFG for 36 years. His career began right after playing for the New York Jets, when he was handed a three-ring binder and told simply, “Go sell.” From those early days selling signs to now leading sales for Venture X, Office Evolution, and Intelligent Office across multiple regions, Nick has carried one principle through every role: “We have one customer, our franchisee.” For him, supporting franchisees is personal. “When you put someone into business, you feel responsible for their success,” he says.
On the other end of the timeline is Felix Kaminski, who joined UFG as a Technology Project Manager just a few months ago. In his short time, Felix has already made an impact by ensuring franchisees have the tools and support they need to run smoothly. From resolving a franchisee’s system issue on the spot to acting as the “glue” between IT, operations, and other departments, Felix has seen firsthand how every action ties back to the same mission Nick has championed for decades—franchisee success.
Though their journeys are different, Nick and Felix share the same perspective on what drives UFG forward: adaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to culture. Nick compares being mission-driven to preparing for a football season—every day brings new challenges that require focus and collaboration. Felix echoes that sentiment, saying his role is about helping owners remove obstacles so they can focus on growth.
For both, UFG’s culture stands out. Nick has brought in friends and even family because of the trust and shared purpose he sees here. Felix, though new, noticed right away that franchisees truly come first—something that many companies say, but few live as authentically as UFG.
Their stories remind us that culture is not about tenure, it’s about commitment to the mission. Whether you’re just starting your journey like Felix or have grown with the company for decades like Nick, one thing remains the same: our franchisees’ success is our success.
