World’s Largest Sign Franchise Offers Veterans Up to $40,000 to Open New SIGNARAMA Store
West Palm Beach, FL (April 16, 2012) – SIGNARAMA, the world’s largest full-service sign business, announced today the launch of “SIGNARAMA Salutes Our Veterans,” a new initiative that supports returning military members seeking to start a SIGNARAMA franchise. As part of the program, the company will waive the franchise fee for one qualified U.S. military veteran, making it easier for them to start their own business. This saving is estimated at up to $40,000.
“Our military men and women risk their lives so that we Americans can pursue the American dream,” said ‘JT’ Jim Tatem, President of SIGNARAMA. “My father served 22 years as a US Marine and I recognize and personally appreciate what our military personnel have done. At SIGNARAMA our goal is to help veterans transition back into civilian life and through our unique initiative we hope to make someone’s dream of owning their own company a reality.”
To participate, veterans can simply visit http://www.signarama.com/veterans and submit an application to be considered for $40,000 towards the franchise fee of a new SIGNARAMA store. Applications must be received by June 30th. In addition to ‘SIGNARAMA Salutes Our Veterans’ program, the company also offers a VetFran program in which it offers discounts off its franchise fee based on years of military experience (For always up to date details visit: Veterans Discounts):
– Less than 11 years: 10% Discount
– 11-20 years: 25% Discount
– 20 or more years: 50% Discount
As ten of thousands of service men and women return from deployment in Afghanistan and Southwest Asia, expanded opportunities are needed to ensure veterans and their families can transition into the civilian economy. Many veterans have already found great success as a SIGNARAMA franchisee and achieved their dreams of business ownership. As part of the new program, SIGNARAMA is also encouraging its franchisees to hire veterans to join the workplace in our stores across the country to help even more former military members to find job opportunities.
