Eager Entrepreneurs Open The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Ladera Ranch

Husband-and-wife franchise owners are excited to introduce the community to the restaurant’s fresh Mediterranean cuisine

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is now offering its fresh takes on Mediterranean cuisine in Ladera Ranch from its new location at 27522 Antonio Parkway in Mercantile East Plaza. The 2,000-square-foot restaurant is operated by franchise owners Ravi Potlachervu and his wife, Ramya Ratakonda, who will use their extensive business background to make a positive impact in the community.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill offers a menu reinterpreting Mediterranean favorites and serves them in an elevated fast-casual atmosphere. Guests can enjoy classic dishes like the Great Greek Gyro as well as lamb, steak and chicken Souvlaki plates, complemented by the restaurant’s fresh Greek salads and four signature house-made dips, including Hummus, Tzatziki, Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) and Tirokafteri (spicy roasted red pepper).

“We look forward to sharing the restaurant’s delicious and satisfying selections with guests in the Ladera Ranch-area,” Potlachervu said in a statement. “We’re eager to collaborate with our team, build relationships with customers and create memorable dining experiences that leave a lasting impression.”

Potlachervu and Ratakonda are natives of India and have broad experience in technology and business operations. In seeking new opportunities, they were attracted to the franchise model of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill as well as its fresh ingredients and fast-casual format.

“We knew the brand was an ideal choice for us to become franchise owners because of a combination of its authentic cuisine, strong brand recognition and proven business model,” said Ratakonda. “This represents a fresh beginning, filled with potential for growth and success.”

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill specializes in catering large parties, events and meetings. Choose from build-your-own Gyros and Souvlaki Skewers, accompanied by Rice Pilaf, crisp Greek salad, authentic dips and desserts like Baklava.

Potlachervu recommends the Four Dip Combo, serving the restaurant’s signature dips with warm pitas. “Each dip offers a unique tasting experience, from the creamy Hummus to the tangy Tzatziki and the zesty flavor of the roasted red pepper dip,” Potlachervu said. “It’s perfect for sharing with friends and family or indulging in a satisfying solo meal.”

The Ladera Ranch restaurant seats 48 guests in its dining room and offers catering, pick-up and delivery via UberEats, Grub Hub, Doordash and EZCater. It is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
