Oyster Bay Equity was established in 2026 to invest in small to midsize franchise companies that need experience, direction, contacts and capital to reach their full potential. We will take advantage of our long history and success in franchising by focusing on the franchise industry and helping both the founder/entrepreneur scale and build a very successful brand worldwide.

Oyster Bay Equity has more experience in helping brands/companies scale in franchising than most other private equity firms since we started in 1986, with one brand, Signarama, and built the company to over 10 brands in 80 countries. Over the years our founder, Ray Titus, has led the successful sales and acquisition of many brands, leading to the formation of United Franchise Group. United Franchise Group has become one of franchising’s best-known franchise platforms while staying a privately held, family business.
