Sign Awards Categories

Vinyl – Non-Digital

Signage predominantly made from cut vinyl and may include signs on walls, banners, shopfronts and general signage. This category excludes vehicle wraps.

Vehicle Graphics

Includes full, partial, stylizing vehicle graphics. This award recognizes the specific skill required to design and apply signage known as “vehicle body wraps”. Vehicles may include cars, vans, buses, boats, trucks and bikes.

Electronic, Neon & Illuminated

Cover the full gamut of electrical and illuminated signage, including LED technology, neon signage, illuminated light boxes, architectural applications, advertising signs, etc. Entries must include day and night pictures.

Digital Print Output

May include wall décor, canvas, flex faces, light box faces, banners, posters, etc.

Original In-House Design Concept

Sign concept must be designed and developed in-house

Directional Wayfinding

Overall directional, wayfinding or statutory signage projects may include proprietary or non-proprietary signage systems or products, and signage can comprise of any form.

Self-Promotion

Promotional work of any type, e.g. banners, freestanding signs, walls, vehicles, etc. that are created with Signarama brand compliant frameworks, for self-promotion with no budget constraints or commercial value to a client. This category rewards any skill set to promote your business.

Router Output

Needs to be produced on a router (not necessarily in-house) and can be a sign, logo, image or output produced (excluding engraving), where a sign, graphic or image is the main subject.

Laser Engraver

Needs to be created on a laser engraver (not necessarily in-house) includes awards, signage, promotional products, point of purchase, logos, etc.

Branding/Rebranding

ooking for consistent quality of concept, design and execution across several touchpoints of a brand across multiple locations.

Community Involvement

Put your town in the spotlight! Submit signage that was completed for a local club, organization, event sponsorship, etc.!
