Kevin has been in franchising and financial management for over 20 years, beginning his career working for his mother in one of her 3 H&R Block franchises. After finishing school he sought out a position at a SIGNARAMA location near Chicago as graphic designer and production manager in 1994 due to his yearning for demonstrating his creative abilities.
Working for various SIGNARAMA franchisees in the Chicago suburbs, he has held positions as a store manager, sales manager, bookkeeper and franchise owner. After selling his sign company in 2004, he began working with the corporate offices for SIGNARAMA, United Franchise Group, as an operations advisor and marketing coach. He was rapidly promoted to Training and Development Manager and became well versed in all the brands within the United Franchise Group family.
Kevin was instrumental in the creation of the training programs for the 3 successful home based brands: Billboard Connection; Plan Ahead Events; and Transworld Business Advisors. Along with his experience in training over 300 new franchisees, he has also managed the National Accounts program for SIGNARAMA. Kevin further created a focus group of franchise owners to help develop Shop SIGNARAMA, the brand’s new eCommerce tool that allows online ordering for sign and graphics products.
Because of his strong knowledge of financial management, he worked with all brands to update and train accounting programs for the franchisee to use on a daily basis and was instrumental in the creation and ongoing success of the Business Development Program. His knowledge of the franchising industry and the brands within the United Franchise Group allows him to succeed in finding the perfect fit for entrepreneurs in the Great Plains regions.
Kevin currently covers the areas of development for Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas.
