Regional Vice President of Sales

The UNITED FRANCHISE GROUP, one of the largest and fastest growing international franchisors, is seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales in several regions throughout of the United States.

We seek candidates with FRANCHISE SALES EXPERIENCE to recruit new franchisees. Ideal candidates MUST have franchise sales experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be willing to travel within their assigned region.

A background in real estate, business brokerage sales or previous ownership of a franchise business a plus.

Overnight travel 50%-60% of the time, a credit card with an available credit limit to cover reimbursable business travel expenses, an eligible drivers license, working automobile and valid automobile insurance are required.

SUMMARY:
Manages and directs franchise sales process in assigned region by performing the following duties.

  • Develops relationships and sells new and resale franchises to prospects in assigned region.
  • Travels throughout assigned region to meet franchise leads.
  • Plans and attends regional franchise shows.
  • Explains franchise brand offerings, using marketing materials and store tours.
  • Sends franchise leads to corporate for discovery day tours.
  • Researches, locates and inspects franchise store rental locations.
  • Supervises and oversees new store construction.
  • Explains franchise brand offerings, using marketing materials and store tours.
  • Quotes franchise fee and prepares franchise paperwork for franchises sold.
  • Estimates store opening date to franchisee, based on knowledge of store build out, equipment delivery and training requirements.
  • Maintains relationships with existing franchisees in assigned region.
  • Provides leadership in the development of franchise growth, affiliations and partnership arrangements.
  • Conducts regional meetings for franchisees (two per year).
  • Works with Director of Franchise Development to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Coordinates franchisee training.
  • Utilizes franchise development lead generation system.
  • Enters prospective franchisee data and other sales data into franchise development lead generation system.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Investigates and resolves franchisees problems and issues.

Franchise Development Representative

Duties include communicating with prospective franchisees who have expressed an interest in the franchise (warm leads) via telephone and email explaining franchise brand offerings, following up throughout the lead development process and updating contact information into computer data base system.  Additional responsibilities will include learning franchise show presentations for possible attendance at regional franchise shows and conducting webinars online.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong computer skills, be well organized and detailed orientated.  Previous experience in a franchise industry conducting sales or script calls from various lead methods preferred.
